A small beachside garden in Coogee with a compact but diverse garden. The design rationalised the existing layout to create distinct use areas for play and for outdoor dining. Existing materials were reused, and supplemented with recycled stone paving. A water feature of bent copper enlivens an existing granite rock garden.
Plants were selected for their tolerance for coastal conditions and low maintenance, while still creating a lively combination of colours and textures in the garden. All gardens are irrigated from captured site water.
