The yarning circle is a cultural and learning space within the Ngaladjima Garden, developed with the adjacent Ngunnawal Centre. The aspiration for this space was to create a functional and meaningful outdoor setting that is contextually and symbolically powerful, that sits within the University’s broader ambition to embed indigenous heritage and culture within the campus and curriculum. It is a place for everyone, to meet and to learn – with flexibility to seat many and few, welcoming but with ability for privacy.

The circle is embedded in the existing Ngaladjima garden and connects to the immediate setting and the hills beyond through use of local and recycled materials, and indigenous planting.
