This quiet and restrained small project is a perfect example of the landscape architect’s ability to respond to the constraints of a low-budget and delicate site in a beautiful, robust, and memorable way. It illustrates the influence a landscape architect can have elevating small scale interventions in a regional setting; a pragmatic brief overlayed with the poetics of place. Strong partnerships have been forged to deliver this project and responded to community angst about the project and the need for community acceptance.
